BSC- BALANCED SCORECARD MANAGEMENT PERFOMANCE SYSTEM

Description

This training will enable participants to appreciate and understand this performance management tool and use it in their respective offices to improve and subsequently increase productivity.  Since year 2003/4 the Government introduced BSS to manage public service employee's performance.

Objectives

To equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills on carrying out effective BSS assessment. Specifically participants will be able to: -

· Understand BSC

·  explore and consolidate your understanding of BSC

· Improve your capability to fulfill the evaluation form

· Understanding the Organization Environment

· Defining Strategic Themes in Balanced Scorecard

· Choosing Perspectives/Developing Objectives

· Developing a Strategy Map of the Organization

· Defining Key Performance Indicators

· Cascading the Balanced Scorecard

· Developing initiatives and projects to support the Balanced Scorecard

· Cultural Issues regarding the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard

· Putting BSC into practice

· Using Balanced Scorecard as an integral part of your Management system

· Automating the Balanced Scorecard
